How To Make A Fall Floral Burlap HOME Canvas

I don’t know if you recall but a few days ago I got a special package from my friends at JoAnn’s that included some pretty amazing fall flowers! I decided to create a pretty fall floral burlap HOME canvas to add to my fall decor HOME wall sign. It is neutral enough to go with any decorating style and is super easy to make. This would also make a great housewarming, or hostess gift as well!

I’m so excited to share this beautiful fall floral HOME burlap canvas with you. It creates such a statement in my home and can easily be changed out for different seasons. The coppers and golds really pop and bring instant texture and dimension to this space. 

You can pick up different size letters at the craft store and paint them whatever color you like. Or you can purchase them already finished like I show here.

• Fall Flowers provided by JoAnn’s Florals
• Burlap Ribbon
• Lace Ribbon
• Twine
• Hot Glue Gun
• Fabric Scissors
• Wire Cutters

How to make A floral burlap HOME canvas

Start by hot gluing lace ribbon around the outer edge of the burlap canvas.  

Gather fall silk flowers in different styles and hot glue them around the inside of the burlap canvas.

Hot glue the bow to the center of the floral design. There is so much gorgeous texture in this canvas with all the different types of flowers. The faux eucalyptus and ferns really make this piece. 

NEXT…

Of course, I had to add a little bling to the center of the burlap bow. Every piece should have a little sparkle! 

Hang the HOME letters on your wall with the floral canvas taking the place of the letter “o”. Look how pretty it is hung next to this wooden ladder:

You can bet I will be creating a pretty Christmas themed canvas to replace this once Thanksgiving is over. I just love how it turned out! 

DECORATE WITH YOUR floral burlap HOME canvas

Floral Burlap HOME Canvas

Make a pretty fall floral burlap canvas to add to HOME wall art. It makes for a beautiful statement piece.

Equipment

• Wire cutters
• hot glue gun

Materials

• Burlap Canvas
• Fall Flowers
• Burlap Ribbon
• Lace Ribbon
• Twine

Instructions

• Hot glue lace ribbon around the outer edge of the burlap canvas. 
• Hot glue fall flowers around the inside of the burlap canvas.
• Add as many flowers as you like to the canvas gluing them around the canvas. 
• Make a shoestring bow using a piece of burlap and lace ribbon.
• Hot glue the bow to the center of the floral design.
• Hang the canvas with letters to create HOME.
