How to Make Better Than Cherry Cheesecake Dump Cake

You don’t have to spend all day in the kitchen to have a delicious dessert. This cherry cheesecake dump cake is the perfect example of that! If you are a fan of cheesecake, you MUST give this dessert recipe a try. The crust is so moist and delicious, especially with the rich and creamy blend of cream cheese and cherries. Yum!

  • 1 bag Chessman or butter cookies
  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 tub whipped cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter, melted

These ingredients would be good to keep on hand for the holiday season. You never know when you will have last-minute guests, or maybe just be in the mood to bake!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.

Line the bottom of the dish with cookies. Aren’t they pretty and festive all by themselves?

Pour or “dump” cherry pie filling on top of cookies

Spread whipped cream cheese over the pie filling.

Evenly sprinkle the cake mix on top.

Spoon on melted butter making sure the entire surface is covered.

Bake 40-45 minutes until golden brown on top.

Better Than Cherry Cheesecake Dump Cake

This is an easy and delicious dessert that can be whipped up in no time!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Chessman or butter cookies
  • 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 tub 1 Tub Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 1 box Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 2 sticks Butter

Instructions
