Most Dollar Tree stores receive one main truck per week, sometimes two depending on store volume and season. While the exact day varies by location, trucks most often arrive early to mid-week.
Here’s what matters more than the exact day:
The best time to shop is 24–48 hours after the truck arrives.
Why? Because stock needs time to be unloaded, sorted, and put on shelves. Going the same day as the truck usually means boxes everywhere and nothing accessible. Going a day or two later means fresh inventory is out, shelves are full, and seasonal items haven’t been picked through yet.
The easiest way to find your store’s rhythm is simple: ask. A quick, friendly “What day do y’all usually get your truck?” at checkout is often all it takes. Write it down once and you’ll shop like a local every time.
