Equipment

Instructions

  • First, you'll need a vintage chenille bedspread. I found mine at a local flea market and liked the off-white color that would blend in nicely with the other colors of fall. Next, measure (or eyeball) your pillow using the pumpkin template to determine how much fabric you'll need for the cover.
  • Cut out a rectangular piece of chenille bedspread that is 2 inches bigger than your pumpkin template to get started.
  • Now, you'll need trace the pumpkin template using your light-colored marker.
  • Cut out the pumpkin pattern using the markings.
  • Using fabric hot glue, glue the chenille pumpkin edges down to the pillow cover.
