DIY Swaddle Blanket Scented Sachets

Make semi-homemade scented sachets using swaddle blankets.

Equipment

Materials

  • Swaddle Blankets
  • Sachets
  • Ribbon
  • Embellishment

Instructions

  • Cut a piece of the white swaddle blanket about 6x12" with fabric scissors.
  • Lay the white piece on top of the floral swaddle blanket, to use it as a template, and cut it just about 1" larger.
  • Add hot glue about 1/4" from the edge and fold the blanket in half.
  • Repeat this same process on the opposite side so you have a little bag.
  • Flip it inside out so it is nice and finished. Push out the corners to even it out.
  • Take the floral swaddle and place it right side up. Repeat the same process as you did with the white blanket.
  • Place the white bag inside the floral bag.
  • Cut the sachet at an angle and pour it into the white bag.
  • Seal the bag with hot glue, or fabric glue.
  • Make a bow with ribbon and wrap it around the sachet. Add a dab of hot glue to secure it.
  • Finish it off with a pretty embellishment if desired.
