Easy Chocolate Covered Marshmallows for Halloween

A quick and easy Halloween treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 10-12 oz white chocolate
  • coconut oil
  • green, orange and purple food coloring oil based
  • chocolate buttercream frosting
  • white buttercream frosting
  • 20-25 marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • paper straws
  • decorator sugar eyes optional

Instructions
 

  • Cut the straws in half and place one marshmallow on the cut end of each straw, set aside.
  • Melt the white chocolate 2 oz. at a time with ΒΌ teaspoon of coconut oil and stir until smooth.
  • If using color, add it now and stir until well incorporated.
  • Dip the marshmallows into the chocolate and place them on a wax paper lined tray.
  • Cool in the fridge or freezer until set then decorate accordingly.
  • Ghost - dip in white chocolate, set, then use the chocolate buttercream to pipe on eyes and mouth.
  • Mummy - dip in white chocolate, set, place remaining melted chocolate in a piping bag with a tiny cut tip and drizzle it over the coated marshmallow then add decorator eyes or use the frosting to create eyes.
  • Frankenstein - dip in green chocolate, set, use chocolate frosting to pipe on hair, stitches, and mouth.
  • Jack O Lantern - dip in orange chocolate, set, use chocolate frosting to pipe on eyes and mouth.
  • Dracula - dip in purple chocolate, set, use chocolate and white frosting to pipe on hair, eyes, and fangs.
  • Cool in fridge to set then use frosting to add eyes if not using sugar ones.
