How to Make a DIY Candle
Making a DIY candle at home has never been easier with my new favorite candle repour kit shortcut. Candles are my favorite way to elevate my mood year round and creating them with this fun kit makes it super simple.
Materials
- 1 Container of your choice
- 1 Microwave
- 1 Scissors
- 1 Siblings Candle Re-Pour Kit
Instructions
- Choose your scent. (see below)
- Microwave your re-pour container for 30 seconds and then squish the sides only.
- Return the candle wax to the microwave for 15-30 seconds longer then remove it carefully and check the consistency.
- Continue microwaving and checking the wax for up to another minute until it is completely melted.
- Apply wick stickers to the bottom of your container.
- Attach wicks to the stickers.
- Stabilize your wicks with the chopsticks. Use a weight if needed. (I used my 'share' block)
- Pour DIY Candle wax into your container slowly, then tap lightly on the surface to smooth out any bubbles. For best results, allow to cure for up to 7 days before enjoying.
