Paint a thin line of green around the edge of the watermelon.
Paint a light pink paint border above the green rind.
Then a darker pink paint above that layer.
Add a top layer of red to finish off the watermelon color.
Let this dry, or use your handy heat gun to speed up the process.
Once dry, use a black paint pen to color the watermelon seeds.
Finish the seeds by outlining them with a white paint pen.
Use the white paint pen to add more dimension to the base of the watermelon.
Cut or tear strips of fabric to make a messy bow.
