How to Make a Wreath Bow using Pillowcase Fabric

Making a wreath bow using pillowcase fabric is a simple and easy way to add a touch of elegance to any decor. Simply grab an old pillowcase or select a coordinating pillowcase for your fabric, and scissors, then follow these super easy steps!

Materials

  • an old pillowcase
  • fabric scissors
  • zip tie
  • bling

Instructions

  • Start by cutting off the hem of your pillowcase. This is usually at the very bottom where the opening is.
  • Cut down both sides of the pillowcase seams and remove them. They are just a little too bulky for this project.
  • Next cut approximately one and a half inch notches across one end of your fabric.
  • Rip each of the cuts into strips.
  • Remove the loose strings on the frayed edges of the strips.
  • Gather the strips and assemble them as one piece of fabric. Proceed to form a regular bow.
  • Zip tie your bow together at the center.
  • Glue a piece of bling to the center of your bow if desired.
