BOHO Dollar Tree Easter Craft
Make a beautiful BOHO Dollar Tree Easter craft with an upcycled plastic candy bowl. It's super simple to make and can be used in so many different ways.
Heat Gun (optional)
paint brush
scissors
- Dollar Tree Clothespins
- Dollar Tree Plastic Candy Dish
- Mod Podge
- Lace Ribbon
- Gold Studded Ribbon
- Embellishments
- Chalk Paint
- Spanish Moss
Remove the label from the candy bowl. You can use goo gone to remove any leftover residue. Paint the plastic bowl with the chalky finish paint using a chip brush. I used a beautiful soft blue color called Vintage.
Split the clothespins in half by twisting them until they separate. Hot glue each clothespin to the painted candy bowl until the entire bowl is covered.
Hot glue a piece of the pretty studded ribbon around the entire candy bowl. Be sure to run a little hot glue around several sections so it is nice and secure.
Fill the entire bowl with spanish moss.
Paint the plastic Easter eggs with the chalk paint.
Hot glue the lace ribbon around the center of each painted egg.
Add a decorative embellishment to each egg.
Enjoy!
