Materials

  • Heart-Shaped Wreath Form
  • Denim Ribbon
  • Nautical Rope
  • Wood Beads
  • Gingham Ribbon
  • Patriotic Scarf

Instructions

  • Start by hot gluing the nautical rope to the heart-shaped wreath form.
  • Continue gluing the nautical rope around the wreath form.
  • Once you have finished wrapping the rope on the wreath form, you want to cut the gingham ribbon into short pieces about 3" long.  Cut the ends with a dovetail cut.
  • Pinch the ribbon in the middle and secure it with glue where the point is to the outside layer of the rope. Repeat this process.
  • Cut the denim ribbon about 8" for each piece.
  • Attach the cut denim ribbon to the outer ring of the wreath by folding it around the wire and hot gluing it.
  • Hot glue navy wood beads around the wreath. Tie a patriotic scarf around the bottom of the patriotic wreath.
  • Hang and enjoy!
