How to Arrange Flowers the Easy Way

In this guide, I will share some tips and tricks for arranging flowers the easy way, so you can enjoy beautiful floral displays effortlessly. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, this guide will help you create stunning arrangements that will impress your guests and brighten up your space.

Materials

  • Fresh Flowers Mine are from Petal Pickers
  • A container at least half the height of the stems
  • Clear tape
  • Chrysal Flower Food
  • Water
  • Scissors
  • Penny

Instructions

  • Prepare the container by adding clear tape in a crisis cross design across the top in order to create a "frog" for your stems. This will help to hold them in place while remaining invisible.
  • Sprinkle in your flower food, you can use the Chrysal that is included with most floral bouquets or use sweetener. Then add your water to a little over half way.
  • Trim each stem at an angle for best results. This allows them to start fresh and take in the water best.
  • After all of your stems have been added, go back in with your "filler pieces" trimming off any branches or leaves that are on the lower half.
  • If your arrangement contains tulips, add a penny to the water to help them stand at attention and last longer.
  • Display your flowers somewhere you can see them daily and enjoy their beauty. Refill their water as needed by emptying the container, trimming stems again, and adding new flower food. This will ensure a longer-lasting result than simply topping off the old water.
