White Chocolate Covered Oreos

Prep Time 10 minutes

Equipment

  • 1 small microwave safe bowl
  • Parchment Paper
  • Spoon
  • spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 10 OZ White Chocolate Chips or Almond Bark
  • 19 Oreo cookies
  • ¼ cup Crushed peppermint

Instructions
 

  • Place parchment paper on baking tray.
  • Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for (2) 30-second increments, stirring in between. Continue to stir until melted.
  • Dip the oreo cookies into the white chocolate. Allow any excess white chocolate to drip off the cookies, then place the cookies on the parchment paper, making sure to give a little space between to allow for space for the chocolate to puddle.
  • Sprinkle tops of the melted white chocolate with crushed peppermint.
  • Allow the white chocolate to set. This can take up to 30 minutes to an hour depending on how humid your home is.

Notes

These cookies can keep for a couple of weeks in an airtight container, with parchment paper between each layer.
This recipe is easily scalable, but you should be okay with ¼ cup crushed peppermint unless you are doing a LOT of dipped cookies.
